An Oath of Vengeance is an quest found in Forspoken. The quest begins in Frey's room in Cipal after the events in Her Father's Findings. Auden Keen has been reunited with her father, and Frey receives the Notes on the Torana.
Before leaving the city to avenge Olevia's death, Frey decides to check on Robian. She finds him captured by two guards who are trying to stop him from chopping down a magically enhanced tree in the Harkiska Grove.
Robian is convinced that the tree contains something that can help. Auden convinces the guards to let Robian go. However, she then takes a sample from the tree herself while Frey talks to Robian about the Torana. The old man is too confused for any useful conversation.
Frey leaves them and goes to the archives, where she meets a woman called Johedy Kladivo, who is the archivist. Johedy tells her to read as much as she can about the Tantas to prepare for battle.
On her way to the city gates, she can learn more about Tanta Sila from Dax Viernost.
