Bear McCreary (born February 17, 1979) is an American musician and composer of film, television, and video games scores based in Los Angeles, California. He is best known for his work on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the reimagined Battlestar Galactica television series, as well as Outlander and The Walking Dead. He also scored the 2018 PlayStation 4 video game God of War and will do so again for its 2022 sequel, Ragnarök, as well as the 2019 feature film, Godzilla: King of the Monsters.
Bear McCreary, alongside Garry Schyman, is one of the composers for Forspoken.
