Forspoken: In Tanta We Trust is an upcoming prequel story DLC for Forspoken. Initially slated for a winter 2022 release, following the game's delayed, the DLC was moved to spring 2023.[3] The DLC released for PlayStation 5 and PC on May 26, 2023 for the general public while owners of the Digital Deluxe Edition got early access on May 23, 2023.[2][1]

Synopsis[]
Two months after stopping the threat of Susurrus, The Break is still and ongoing problem. Frey’s journey continues as she searches for a way to permanently rid the land from the effects of the Break. Amid her search, she follows a mysterious voice that leads her into the past. When she emerges, Frey finds herself surrounded by chaos and destruction. Injured and draped in blood-soaked clothing, she discovers a grim truth about her fate. The recently thriving Athia is at war, but why and with whom? Accompanied by Tanta Cinta, and a new set of magic, Frey must uncover the answers and save Athia once more – and attempt to save herself.

Plot[]
Two months after the battle between Susurrus and Frey, a Mysterious Voice whispers to Frey and revealing to her that she could find the truth the seeks at Visoria. After arriving in the outskirts of Visoria Frey notices a glowing pilar calling her name to which she goes to inspect, after interacting with it she is transported to a Fount of Memory where the Mysterious Voice informs her that in order to save Athia she must learn about its past.
Frey is sent to the past where she wakes up inside the body of Thalia Solarius and experiences the fallout of a recent conflict.

Forspoken: In Tanta We Trust received "fair" reviews, an aggregated score of 69/100 and 36% critics recommendation, according to review aggregator OpenCritic.[4] The DLC received overall "mixed or average reviews" and an aggregated score of 71/100, according to review aggregator Metacritic.[5]
RPG Fan highlighted the story and its two central characters as the DLC's strongest points, pointing out Tanta Cinta as a particular complex character, while finding the main villan unmemorable and the enemy variety being lacking.[7]
