	Frey Holland	Ella Balinska	Umeka Shōji	The protagonist of the game, a young woman from modern-day New York City who is magically transported to Athia, once a beautiful and peaceful land that has been beset by the Break. No one, aside from Frey, strangely enough, is safe from the corruption, which transforms whatever it touches into a twisted, and often bloodthirsty, facsimile of itself.
	Cuff	Jonathan Cake	Satoshi Mikami	The deuteragonist of the game and nicknamed by Frey, it is a magical, sentient bracelet of uncertain origin that helps Frey navigate through the sprawling landscapes of Athia.
	Johedy	Keala Settle	Kyo Yaoya	A hard-nosed archivist who provides Frey with guidance during her journey in Athia.
	Auden	Monica Barbaro	Sanae Kobayashi	A kind, open-minded young woman who prioritizes the needs of others before her own. She is quick to accept Frey in Athia, and sees more in her than Frey does in herself.

Antagonists

Tantas

Main article: Tantas

The magic-wielding, corrupted matriarchs of Athia, and the main antagonists and bosses of the game, the Tantas were once benevolent rulers of the land, and were beloved by their people who enjoyed lives of plenty under their guidance until the arrival of the Break. It wasn't until one day without warning, they mysteriously became oppressors, becoming aggressive and hateful. As the most powerful sorceresses in Athia, the Tantas pose a very dangerous threat to Frey.

	Tanta Sila	Janina Gavankar	TBA	Known as the "Tanta of Strength", she is the strongest and most formidable Tanta, and use to command Athian troops to protect the land from outside threats. She fought on the front line, displaying unparalleled prowess in battle, and was revered by the people for it. Tanta Sila is now a dictatorial despot who is mad with power, she trusts nothing but her own skill in battle, mercilessly eliminating any and all who offend her.
	Tanta Prav	Pollyanna McIntosh	Rika Fukami	Known as the "Tanta of Justice", she administered Athia’s judicial system before the Break, she judged right from wrong with her uncanny ability to perceive untruths and brought order and peace to Athian society. Now Tanta Prav is the ruler of Avoalet and a callous executioner with a warped sense of justice, trusting only in her own judgment.
